This is a basic guacamole recipe. Its fresh, chunky and delicious and can be served with your favourite tortilla chips, on tacos or with other Mexican food, on a nice piece of toast for breakfast, or with scrambled eggs. It has endless possibilities really.
The most important thing is to make it with fresh ingredients if you have them available but, of course, if this can’t be done the following substitutions can be made:
- utilize frozen cilantro that you saved from your last batch or the kind you can buy in a tube and store in the fridge.
- use a 1/4 teaspoon on garlic powder instead of fresh, or you can also use the type that comes in a jar or tube
- frozen avocado
